Did you report this to the police?

This is a hit-and-run and may be a felony. She needs to be hauled off the road!

sucks donkey , man.
Glad your ok, BTW is this the little airport out by Bear Creek Park?? I have driven that road. It does have a couple of tight 90* turns that shoot around it. Gotta watch them. people start watching the airport and planes and dont watch the frikken road in front of them.

If there was no contact... there was no 'Hit' for a hit & run. It was a single vehicle accident.

No witness, it's a he said/she said kind of thing... and the 'witness' may
have thought he was just trying to show off and lost control of his wheelie.

It sux...but <shrug> Reality Bites.

IT EXAPMLE WAS NOT A HIT AND RUN IF THERE WAS NO CONTACT MADE, PLAIN AND SIMPLE. THERE IS NOTHING THAT THE POLICE CAN DO ABOUT IT.

Get that through your skulls people. Now if you could have gotten some information on the person, you could have sued her and maybe won in small claims court.

+1 Truth is, thanks to some riders this is how the general population views most sport bike riders. "Oh look at that loser - he lost control of his bike and went down. Got what he deserved."

I don't belive that for a minute and I'm glad you are okay. I take a lot of flak at work because I'm the only rider. Everytime someone see's a biker pull some stupid stunt (Freeway wheelies, high speed lane splitting, etc) I get lectured and blamed.

Sorry about your bike. Glad you had on gear. I wish the airhead in the car had realized she was the cause of your wreck, not just a witness to it.

Always glad to hear that you are ok.

Seeing the pics of your bike made me sad. :(

How would you go about proving that someone saw/witnessed it and failed to stop in this situation...or in most others?
