50 motor

How much would a motor for a 50 cost? Would prefer to stick with Honda too, not knock off. Any suggestions where to get one in the area?

Thanks!

Not sure where to get a Honda motor. Lifan makes 50 motors though.

lol. i actually almosted pm'ed you first cause I knew you would know. Any idea where he got those non-Honda motors? Cost? 50, 88 or 110? I was thinking stick with the real Honda motors just mainly concerned if the knock off motors can take the abuse.

pitster pro has some 88cc complete motors brand new, 4 speed, clutch, good motors(comes with everything needed for install). call them, I think they can get them to you for about 200 shipped. 1.866.686.7869 talk to Chris or Collin in parts.

-all new wiring, cable, 22mm carb and intake with gaskets, oil cooler with lines, and all necessary mounting hardware, kick start and shifter

50 motor

They are four speed, with an hd auto clutch.
I dont know how heavy duty they are. It is a yx motor which is a really good brand.

$200 is not bad at all. Was looking at this roller on CL:

http://houston.craigslist.org/mcy/661657352.html

If I can get that roller for $400 and a motor for $200 that will be perfect since my rebate check is $600.

That ad don't happen to belong to anyone here eh?

I just spoke with Chris. He said $190 + $30-$40 shipping. They are 4 speed but the have the downwards shifting N-1-2-3-4-N (top to bottom). Usually takes about a week to arrive after ordering and comes with everything necessary to slap in a roller.

Anybody know much about that Fast50s swingarm? Are they harder to stunt with than stock?
