What Should We Do?

So this past weekend, I saw two downed riders in Deer Park (posted on one of them). Being new to sport bikes, how do y'all react? I wanted to pull over and see if there was anything I could do, or offer a phone if they needed one. Each time there were severl police officers and an ambulance. I would almost feel as if I was butting into someones business, or the authorities would get . How has anybody reacted, and what have y'all done?

Cheers,

J.R.

Right, if they were alone, I would stop and help in a heartbeat. Yet with authorities are there, I figure I should just "move along, nothing to see here"

Ya, if help is there, I find it best to just mind my own business. I'm not a doctor, so they dont need any more grief from outsiders "butting in" like u said.

you could ride wheelies up and down the street as entertainment for those who stopped but can't be of assistance, like the other 9 cops who aren't directing traffic just milking the call.

Would you recommend doing this totally nude? For some reason I think this would be of much more assistance.

+1 - as much as we might want to assist, they have it covered at that point.

Would a hairy be that much more ineffective?...J/K.

All in all, I believe the general thought is stop and offer whatever you can if you arrive before any authorities. If you stop afterwards, you are just becoming a typical rubber-necker.

I stopped to help a guy on a Honda 750 as (i counted) 6 bikes just rolled on. Stop and help a rider and maybe the favor will be returned to you when you are stranded.
