Ok guys it is confirmed. That was my friends 2006 GSXR 600. He got a call yesterday from an officer saying the recovered his bike from a guy who ran from the police.

Mind you, he had reported his bike stolen 3 MONTHS AGO. It was sitting in his apartment complex and was gone one day. His bike is all black with red accents. He has it back. His rear tire is bald and he has some slight damage to the fairing but nothing major. So yes, his bike was STOLEN. By a bike THIEF. The story matches up exactly to what the officer told him.

One thing is if you Knightrider have any more info you can give me, my friend would be greatly appreciative. He is not a Motohouston member. Message me or what have you.

Thats what I'm thinking. The others who complained were wrong in the first place b/c they ASSUMED you didn't know your facts. That would be silly for someone to just throw it out there without proof that the guy stole the bike. Yall get offended way too easily :/:

Ok time for an UPDATE.

The bike is in a shop now so they can access the damage done to the bike. Apparently that guy dogged the out of the bike. Supposedly the RPM and MPH gauges didn't work properly. Also my friend noticed the bike didn't handle like it normally does. The shifter seems bent or not in the proper place it should be. Also 3rd gear either doesn't work or gets stuck. (Trying to remember as best as I can) I am sure there are more problems with the bike.

So yea, basically the scum that stole the bike "rode it like he stole it."
