Thumbs up HPD - 1 Bike Thief - 0

As of 330 am a guy on a bike runs from the police just north of downtown...all i hear for descriptions is black bike, no visible plate...black male about 6 foot tall, wearing all black with a white and yellow helmet...anyway he decides to run, goes south on 45, then south on 288, does a little where am i around the 288 610 area then gets on 610 and goes east towards 45 and then slows down and eventually pulls over just before 45 and is in custody at 345. congrats to HPD for a job well done, for gettin the bike in one piece (i.e. not wrecked) and gettin another theif...hope to hear good news about someone gettin their bike back.

Ya, I doubt the theif went home, put on gear...well atleast a helmet, then decided to go on an early morning run from the cops. That woulda been a crazy story though. MH to da rescue.

I wonder why he decided to pull over and stop? Runners/thieves usually don't stop.

sorry, but i'm asking for the torch. what makes you think it was stolen??? people run for the dumbest things. no license,no insurance. could have had a warrant and chose to run because he was going to jail anyway. if it was stolen,i can accept being called names. lets post the facts and not assume.

wish all the stories would end this way. its rediculous that one has to experience this nonsense I know that violence is not the answer but we have to make an example out of those knuckle head thugs and put them 6 feet under. forget bout the judicial system because in no time they will be at it again once they are released, at least the majority. its a shame
