it isn't the padding that makes it small. it is the styrofoam interior that makes it small. No replacing that.

To answer your question, cycle queer carries most Shoei accessories. If they don't have 'em, they can get 'em.

He is right mayn. To go from a large to a small, you will have to wear a turban under that lid.:/: Sell it to someone with a big head and buy you a helmet that fits correctly. Just sayin.

he man. just fyi. you know they are only good for one fall right? if the integrity of the shell is compromised you won't get the same protection the second time around. You are really supposed to have them checked out before using them again. not saying the helmet is no good...just something to think about.

well d$mn I thought I found them but nope didn't. I think he might be right about the styrofoam, the padding won't make it that small.

Shoei makes 3 shell sizes: XS & S, M & L, XL & XXL.
The pads don't interchange between the shell sizes.

If the helmet has been down, even at low speeds, the inner EPS lining has surely been compressed / compromised.

The compression will inhibit / reduce the helmets ability to absorb a shock if / when it's crashed again.

But hey, it's your head, you're the only one that can decide how much it's worth.

Except the X-11. Only one pair share shells, XS and S. Every other size has it's own shell.

+10000000 If I drop my helmet good once (head in or not), it's never riding with me again. My noodle's far more important than a silly gamble on a $500 helmet.
