Valve tapping noise?

Well I went on a ride today on my 250 and maybe on the last ten miles, I started to hear like a valve tapping noise. When I got to the house and took my helmet off, the noise was indeed very loud.
Before going on the ride, I stopped to fill on regular gas at shell

Could this noise be caused by cheap gas?
Valves were adjusted less than 1K miles ago. Tomorrow Ill tear it down and re-check the valves.

Maybe Ill post a video tomorrow after the mother opens her gift

Check oil level first; then recheck valve lash. Remember to adjust per owner's manual instructions.

no. it bolts on to the head. If you don't know about them I would suggest having Motorcycles Unlimited check it out. If you do it wrong you could make the bike jump time.
