Thinking about getting this

I saw a used Speigler steering dampner for $200. I was thinking about getting it anyone heard of it or has anyone had one on there bike before.

Dude i have been looking for a while. i have not seen any but i haven't checked 600rr.net . I guess ill go check that place out and maybe ill get better luck there .

if it is a direct replacement and has full adjustability, I wouldn't see the difference...

Remember the dampener just increases drag on turning the rack by changing the orfice size between each fluid chamber. Unless a google search comes up with serious defects on the product, or you need it for some serious heavy duty riding(to which namebrand, proven equipment is a matter of security) I would run it with confidence.
