is it just me or should the bike have been able to swerve around that? bike doesn't look like it was speeding though, just wondering how far back he was and if he coulda seen it coming. glad he had gear.

Yeah its a repost. There was a long discussion about who was right or wrong. My opinion: BOTH. Dude shouldnt have changed from middle lane, and it seems the mc should of had enough time to initiate emergency procedures. Either way, LOOK OUT!

I agree, but I still put more of the blame on the idiot in the car. He shouldn't have changed lanes like that.

I'd say the car was in the wrong, but for the accident to happen prolly required a moments inattention on the riders part as well.(not that it makes it the riders fault just maybe he was momentarily looking the wrong way).

if ur in a crappy car u want to get rid of, not on a bike, how hard would it be to prove if u purposely hit someone making a stupid move like that on the road lol
the other day, i saw a clip on the news of people reversing in on the tollway, trying to get out of the ez tag lane. while they reversing, u see cars just fly by in the lanes right next to them. it's like , whats more important, going thru the ez tag and owe some change or get in a bad wreck; same thing with ppl that hold up traffic, jump lanes, or squeeze in where they dont fit in, all so they wont miss their exit. just go to the nxt exit calmly, and bust a u

Wouldn't you love to see that rider get up and kick the out of the driver?

The bike should have had plenty time to see him merging over from way back and then avoid him. He probably wasn't paying close enough attention to the traffic. But that doesn't make it his fault. The driver was simply stupid.
