Las Vegas Ride 10/26 - 11/5

4 day ride to Vegas, 4 days in Vegas, 3 day ride back. I'm getting married in Vegas on November 1st. That gives me a reason to ride the bike out there and enjoy some of the mountains. I'm looking for about 3 - 4 more people that would really like to go. as of right now, it's me and a roommate, both with Busas. I'm just putting this out there to give a big heads up if anyone would like to go. here is a tenative route... getting out of Texas will suck but one we get to New Mexico it'll be amazing. the weather should be nice and cool by that time.

oh no. she would have to fly there and take clothes, ect. She wouldn't want to be on the bike that long and I wouldn't want her on with me that long either. No she doesn't want to ride to vegas. She wants to goto Vegas.

Couple things to ponder.

Northern NM, Southern CO, Southern UT. generally will have snow by Halloween... So it will be a little more than cool for a Texan..

(I am from the 4 corners area)

I knew a couple of guys who went last summer. One was on a 600 and had to buy a pillow to put on his tank after Texas. Scenery starts to get really nice out in west tx/nm

Farthest trip I been on was nearly to Laredo, rained the whole way back. 300+ miles each way. I would really like to take a big ride. I know it takes a lot out of you but I am sure I wouldn't have a problem. Right now is really to early to give definite but Brett I will let you know something closer to the end of summer. If me and the old lady can get that time off I will for sure be down to go with ya.

sounds good... the reason i made it so long, is for time to recouperate after the ride then have time to enjoy vegas. the wedding is saturday, we'd leave sunday to get there.
