she'd rather see me at the track than on the streets any day of the week.
Same with mine.

I was lucky to find one that understands. She actually bought me a trackday for my birthday..........

Her only problem with track days is when I pay more attention to the instructors or other riders then I do her. But that's somehting she will have to live with......:/:

I think she enjoys it most when she gets to watch the bikes rip down pit straight and into turns 1 & 2. She always has a detailed description on what each rider looked like when I get back to the paddock.

Sorry to get off topic.........I just thought I would add my two cents in on the whole girlfriend/trackday thing.

I need to know what I'm in for, cause I'm really thinking I'm going to love it, at least based on how much fun I've had buying my first bike and learning to ride it this past couple months.

So...can anyone break it down if you went once a month (is that too little...too much? I don't know squat at this point), what kind of accessories you end up getting (good leathers I know are a must, but what else?), fees, maintenance, what kind of shat breaks on the bike and all that.
You can count on spending $250-300 every track day, counting the cost of the track day. It goes up considerably if you make a mistake.:/:

When you sign up for a track day several weeks in advance hoping your schedule and finances play out just right.

I signed up to work mother's day weekend (saturday) so I can get a free track day, and I haven't even done my first.
After this weekend I'll have 2 track day credits, hoping to get my first track day in next month
