heheh now now boys... can't we all just get along and buy a Honda?

lol jk.

na IMO the most important thing about buying a new bike is if the bike is comfortable to you, 2nd is looks. because they are all face melting..

like the reviewer said about the R1.. "How can a bike this good be 4th?"

The only 08 I think is dead sexy is the R1. The 10R and CBR are both ugly bikes that I'm warming to.

LOL NO Jody I,m no Clayton, I,m not gonna bite off that much, thank U very much, James and I were talking about U yesterday, about how Ur one of the fastest ,s around, Everyone iscomparing these bikes and there is just a smidgen of difference between all of them, and everyone acts like it is a HUGE difference, A talented rider on the slowest 600 out there can beat a less talented rider on the fastest liter bike or even bigger bike, Its all about what makes U feel good, I,m happy as chit with my 1098, even tho its not the fastest thing out there, it is better than to ride

Here's more info. on the MTT Turbine bike: http://www.marineturbine.com/motorcycles.asp. They supposedly have a new one in '08 with 100 more horsepower at 420hp. They are made in Franklin, LA by Marine Turbine Technologies. When I was in school at LSU, the owner brought one to an ASME meeting and road it around the parking lot. Throttle response is delayed and does take time for the turbine to spool, but once it gets going it can run.

yep, unless your racing either at club level or professionally, just get the bike that you like the most whether it be for ergo's or looks.
All the big mfg's are pretty close now on quality soo there is'nt really a "bad" choice out there.

I've always bought honda's(until this year) due to them being the best all around package, like houseofpain said. They don't do any one thing all that great, they just do everything good. That and their built like a brick shithouse.

I need to go see what's up with the 08s.
I think it still boils down to personal preferance, my R1 is the most comfortable bike I own and I'm 6'1.......even with the rearsets all the way up and back I've done 400+ mile days with no problem.

But, back to the '08's............I like the look/feel of the RR but I'd get the ZX10, it seems like Kawi finally got it all together

Why no Duc in the lineup?

The Yami came in 4th???? And yet it's kicking in MotoGP. Yeah I know, totally different bike --- what can I say **shrugs** so much for trickle down technology.

I'm gonna have to say NO to that, sorry. Good luck with having another man blow you (or vice versa), I hear gays are celebrating the supreme court striking down state law banning gay marriage.
