For people who leave their Helmets on their bikes when they park

Aren't you afraid someone is gonna cut the strap and jack yo ?

I'm kinda too paranoid to leave my helmet on my bike.

Not only that.. I have a fear that a venomous spider will crawl inside my helmet when I leave it on the bike. And by the time I come back and put the helmet on my head.. itll bite me and kill me

I always carry my helmet w/ me. But I know people that leave their lid, jacket and keys with the bike, just askin for an insurance theft claim.

There's one dude at my building that always leaves his helmet/gloves hanging on his handlebars, and his jacket just resting on the seat. Pretty trusting guy!

Depends where I am at, if the bike will be visible, how many other bikes I am with, and how long I will be gone. When we are all sitting at Hooters or somewhere and there is 30 bikes next to each other. I usually don't worry about it. Takes someone really stupid to try and steal from a group of 30 bikers. Also there is usually at least one person outside at all times. At work. I am away from my bike 4 hours in the morning and 4 hours in the afternoon. I carry my stuff inside and keep it in my office. At lunch I usually leave it. Depending on where I am and if I can see the bike I may lock it to the tail may not.

M&G's sometimes I'll leave the gear on the bike... otherwise it's with me. When Im shopping, I'll run the helmet strap through the backpack or tank bag... and put items in it.

I've been leaving my helmet locked to the tail when I'm at my Kung Fu class (about an hour). Takes someone really stupid to steal a helmet from a bike parked next to the door of a Kung Fu school too.

why even take it off, gatta love the attention one gets while walkin around campus with it on or goin to the bank and cashin a check but if some trouble starts up no worries jus ram em and your good to go on your way.

might as well take it with because if it gets snached riding with out lid is a no-no.

I almost always take it in with me. Every once in a while I'll lock it to the bike, but never if I'm going to be away from it for a while.

Well, a helmet is worth almost nothing without a strap, it actually cost almost as much as the helmet to replace the strap if they cut it because the strap is laced into the actual foaming egg shell of the helmet. I leave mine on my bike only with a big group and or if my bike is visible.

that depends... if your only interest in someone else's helmet is as using it as a frame slider... :-) Cut on strap, still got anoteh to work with to mount it to the bike.
