three wheeler question

i have a 1979 honda 110 atc i am getting a fire and its getting fuel and when it decides to run it runs the engine will bog down after a while and then it wont run at all its driving me nuts any ideas o yea it eats spark plugs like candy thay get a flat black carbon build up on them fairly quickly i would say after about 30 minutes i think its running lean but ive tried to adjust the carb while its bogging down but it dosent change for the better im running out of ideas

Black plugs are too rich, but it sounds like the points are bad.
