Where? There's been quite a bit of discussion about them on here, but I haven't been keeping up lately.

I noticed some kits/parts are becoming available now.

Body mount kits are available, as well as universal gp bodywork through performance machine.

I have really been wanting one, considered trading Mr. Sands my 919 for one of his, but I'm gonna wait and see what people come up with that works the best and then build my own.

Meanwhile, I'm still scanning craigslist and ebay for a cheap lightly used 450X.

I'd like to set it up where I can convert it to dirt during the winter, and back to track during the summer, but dunno it thats gonna be possible.

Good idea but a 450 is alot for us dirt newbies fyi. You'd be better off adding a 250F to your collection

The wife and I are talking about it. We bought the daughter a KX140 E for her birthday and she loves it. We want to get her riding and see if they open a class for kiddos to compete.
If they do, we want to build her one that she can run at track days and then compete locally if she wants.
We are really just kicking it around until they get the package stuff worked out which we think they will have in a year or two.

I hear ya, but I think the 450X has a little bit wider ratios than the 450R soo it might be a little easier to handle.
A 250 would definetly be fun, but i may want to race this thing down the road and doubt there would be a 250 singles class.
