Stomp Grip

So, Ive been working on flapping my wings. Ive been trying to exercise my core more often (read: not very often), and have been working on holding onto the bike with my legs and not as much with my arms.
The problem Ive encountered is that the tank is slippery, especially after a wash and polish.
Im thinking some tarction/grip pads on the tank will help.

Ive heard of stomp grip and a couple other brands, but would like some feedback from MHers.

oh, and I dont want to do skateboard deck tape.

Stompgrip is teh T!!!!!!

I can't ride a bike without it now after using it for a couple of years. You won't believe the difference it makes, and it will help improve your riding, by allowing you to be lighter on the controls.

You will find that it is well worth every penny!

Another Stomp Grip lover here.
I put it on with small expectations, and really like it now.

Thats what Im looking for. I noticed I was shifting my weight to the bars under braking and that sucked. The first day i went riding and worked to keep my weight of the bars was on my core, but Im getting used to it.

Looks like it might end up being the stomp grips then.

I bought some for my bike, I just haven't installed them yet. My seat is angled forward and I have to work to keep my nuts off the tank. It doesn't matter how hard I grip the tank, there just isn't enough traction. I have high hopes for the stomp grips.

I am happy after riding this past weekend with the stomp grip as well. It's an inexpensive improvement.

I used to ues the Stomps but I now prefer the other stuff, sorry can't remember the brand. I found the Stomp nipples were too big and would get snagged on occation on the leather seams. Not often, but you knew it when it happend. New stuff offers same grip without the nipples/snags.

Is this the other brand that you currently use?
I had the same (minor) problem with the stubs on the material.

I've only seen one other person using this brand at the track.

That's what I was about to say. Supposed to be a lot easier or your leathers than StompGrips as well.
