Any good Suzuki Dealerships around town? I'm going to buy a new Hayabusa.

Looking for a dealer I can walk in and out of quick no hassle. I'm looking for deals like I'm finding on ebay but would prefer to bring my business to a local dealer in Houston.

Who's a good volume dealer around here that you can share your experiences with me on.

Thanks!
Joe

Buy on ebay and get a good price (local dealership will always put you at the last of the line for service as you did not buy from him). Buy from a local dealership and you will get better service (bike purchase price will be more). Darned if you do, darned if you don't. I've heard some stories about bikes being in shops for weeks prior to even being looked at....
Polaris West out in Katy had some nice looking Busa's.....

Walk in with cash in hand and say "I want that one" and see what you get. Time = money for a salesman. If they can make a $100 fast it's better than $500 that takes a lot of hassel and time.

Like others said, support your dealer and they will support you.

The guy I bought my Busa from had an 08 with 500 miles on it for $10,000.
It was in cycle trader. Let me see if I can find it.

Didnt see it. If you are interested let me know, and I will try to find his number.

I still have to pay tax bringing it in though... But if I were buying an ATV or dirt bike I'd get it out of state.
Someone said look at Johnny Word in league city... He actually just told me that a guy here at work.
I've also dealt a lot with cycle shack north up in conroe in my day.

Exactly right, I don't even want to start a conversation unless the sales guy insists and can hold a topic with me.

I'm really less reliant than most on the dealerships unless I have an actual warranty claim which in reality is very uncommon... If I break something that's my fault I'll fix it ie upgrade.

I buy and sell so many toys that I just like to get in and out I'm not a big window shopper.

Sh*t, WORD is the biggest crook out of all of them....I go in there to "attempt" to buy parts from them to support my local dealer and I get a$$ raped so bad...I just gave up on em.. $8.99 for NGK spark plugs? $140 for a battery etc...highway robbery.

If I were buying a new bike, I would definetly buy it out of state and go pick it up or ship it here and save a ton. There are dealers in Missouri selling 08 Gix1000s for $9300....(but you have to pay TTL when you get it to Tx). Even spending $500 in fuel to get and you will save a ton....Way too much mark up locally. We picked up an 04 R1 from them for $9100 with an ext warranty back in 04. Definetly shop around...I wouldn't spend more the $9800 OTD on a new busa though....

I bought my 08 busa from subbs and got a gread deal on it (I have bought a lot of other bikes from them as well) but would buy out of state (missou, or tenn) if i had the time. save thousands. yes plural. after taxes and everyting you still save quite a bit.
