it's being said that the reason Danny wasn't able to mount a challenge in the last 3 laps was down to fuel management, the spring engine being more thirsty than the pneumatic valve engines.
with 3 laps to go the HRC management system went into economy mode

They had one in pre season testing. The problem was it ran like a ...... Honda! HRC dropped the revised spring valved motor in the bike and have been working behind closed doors to resurrect the pneumatic valve engine.

They need to do some hiring and firing in the engine R&D dept
maybe some headhunting in the YAMAHA garage needs to be done
