For all the anti rain riders...

Relax, get a monster energy drink, turn your speakers up and pay close attention to:

1) Their body positions
2) The engine sounds (notice how rather then quickly shifting, you can hear the riders progressively, smoothly letting go of the clutch - everything very smoothly).
3) Having riding in the rain myself several times, i know that pictures just dont do justice. The track is probably worse! Then what it seems in video - so give the guys some props, they are not superstars, just regular riders/racers on track.
4) Mad props to the 250cc guys handing the 600cc its ...

Enjoy!

Feel free to post up other rain ridin videos in this thread aswell..

they probably fitted some especial tires for wet road. I read on BIKE magazine how one of the guys fitted wets on his bike and went just as fast as if he had racing tires on a hot day. The the only drawback of wets is that they only last around 100 miles before their full capabilities are gone.

yes, they make full on rain tires, and intermediates (wet conditions, not consistent heavy rain).

and that is the REAL way to ride in the rain....and gets expensive. and yes, the rain tires wear out quick
