grandparents mean a lot. a whole lot in Indian/paki cultures. not riding a bike for 2 months wont hurt him. riding the bike can hurt his grandmas feelings. I know what i would do.

depends on why you have to choose. if you have to choose between the bike and your grandparents simply because they say no, id ride the out of it. if you have to choose between your bike and FEEDING your grand parents (because for the sake of my example theyre hypothetically indogent), then you should sell it. see what im saying?

those are some weird values presented there. riding=transportation. firefighter saving a living being=doing a great deed. veg eating meat= religious, health, moral issues.

I know everybody has a different value system but come on now.

My parents.

I'm not tied down with a girl right now so that one is out of the question.

But my parents support my decision to ride as long as I behave responsibly on it (wear gear, don't be squidly). Actually my dad thinks it's super cool and he wants to ride it really bad.

you seem like you want everyone to see things the way you do but not everyone will i posted that anyone that means anything to me i would not ride for

just like when someone in my life that meant somthing to me asked me to stop being a firefighter after i got hurt and almost died that was the hardest thing in my life to do was stop doing that and to stop riding would be just as hard to me if you want people to see your point wich I do see it and you have a good point that applies to you (and not everyone) then you have to see other peoples points as well No one here is right or wrong it is all our own opinions and opinions can never be right or wrong

My wife and daughter love riding the bike. In fact my daughter just asked if we could get a couple of dirt bikes so she can learn to ride.

Last week at my first track day, my wife said she loves seeing me so happy and she cant wait to go back out there...

So I say put granny on the back and take her for a ride j/k

Do what your gut says but remember your going to feel guilty sneaking out and riding and believe me you will sneak out to ride...promise.

Oh yeah...my mom saw my track day pics and was asking if I could take up bowling lol. She kids because she knows how much I love to ride. I guess I'm luck.

And what Geezer said, the worst that can happen is you die and go to heaven.

choosing (or not to) obey is your grandma has cultural relevance. riding a bike has no cultural relevance. (help me understand if I am wrong). unless you are talking about hardcore nomadic biker gang mentalities.

wanting to go in a building when there are no lives at stake is kind of foolish dont you think? why put yourself and the equipment at risk? think if others such as LEO's had that mentality?

and transportation is a part of life. or it is a hobby. which is still a part of life. i fail to see how it is a PART of you. would you survive and function in a proper manner without your bike? yes.

i agree. i would never tell my husband to get rid of his bike. if i get a strange feeling I will ask him not to ride at that time. I would be as if he told me to stop doing/get rid of something I loved. I wouldn't want him to resent me for it.

Its called presenting arguments and counter arguments. dont be so naive into thinking there is some huge brainwash job going on here. you state your argument. i state my counter. back and forth. how it works bro.

LOOK THERE YOU GO AGAIN TRYING TO PUSH YOUR OPINIONS ON OTHER PEOPLE WHAT YOU THINK IS FULLISH OTHERS WILL NOT WHAT YOU THINK IS ONE THING OTHERS WILL THINK ANOTHER I MEAN HONESTLY ARE YOU RETARDED? WHAT KIND OF WORLD DO YOU LIVE IN WHERE YOU CAN THINK FOR EVERYONE?

it is called an opinion you can have yorus stop trying to push it on my im not pushing it on you like i said in the last post just look at someone elses view point you dont have to agree with it that is why it is an opinion but stop be a and trying to say everyone is wrong and you are right because you are only right to you

riding is not transportation to me nor is it a hobby but it is a passion (do you know what a passion is ?)

like in the japanese and other asian cultures they have zen gardens and bonzia trees and such but that is not a hobby to them that is there passion and became art of there culture just like riding bikes is my passion and is part of my culture as well
