Any person in your life you would pick over your bike?

My parents just left out the country for the next 2-3 months. My grand parents have lived with me since day one. Finals are going to be over next week and my plan was to enjoy the summer, riding the bike around. My grandma understands how much I enjoy riding the bike but also is a very worried grand mother. She asked if I could leave the bike alone until my parents got back home. Her excuse behind that is that, I am the one taking care of grandma and grandpa, if anything happens to me (on the bike), who will take care of them? I love grandma and grandpa, i don't want them to have anything to worry about.

I choose grandma > bike. Wont be touching it till after summer break is over.

Yes, I live with mommy and daddy

if you want I will ride the bike for you this summer...don't worry I have insurance and will gladly send you pics so you know she's doing okay from time to time

I would choose family over the bike in a hearbeat. Good choice!

and you call yourself a rider

that's a question that should not be asked. if someone really loved you, that wouldn't tell you to stop doing what you love to do. that's the answer to the question.

Ahmad, I hear you and I would have to agree with the grandfolks... they are dependent on you and if something did happen to you, then it would suck for them... the best thing to do is to get a job for the first month of the summer, work mad hours, overtime, etc... and then when you get enough money, buy gandma and grandpa airline tickets to where your parents went.... also send them with a note addressed to your mom and dad that reads as such:
Quote:
Dear Mom and Dad,
You should have took them with you in the first place. You know how much i want to ride and was looking forward to the summer. They are your problem now....
Your Loving Son,
Ahmad
P.S. Don't kick me out of the house when you get back from vacation

Then quit your job and spend everyday of the summer riding...

if anyone in my life asked me not to ride for a valid reason then i would not but you have to look at the other side to me if they went to the extreme of telling me i dont need to ride because I am taking care of them Then i would have to reply with

"You make a good point grandman I did not think about that but now that I am it is best that I dont leave the house at all because I could be shot get in a car wreck get poisoned or any other million things could happen to me outside and then i could not take care of all"

that sounds like a smart comment and it may be no disrespect towards you but that would be my reply
