I read an article a while back in the chron that the city (or whoever) was thinking of opening the HOV lanes to single cars, but at a price. Like the new I10 deal. And if it they adopted it, then motorcycles wouldn't be allowed to travel for free in the HOV lanes anymore.

Oh wow, I didn't hear about the bikes having to pay for it part. That would be rediculous.
