It does look like that, but I think it is really just the heel of the boot, one of the newer style with the large protruding heel.

heck Pedrosa took out Nicky last year (not that I mind...hehe)

here #1 takes out (probably #2)...

it really goes to show you how dangerous our sport can be and how we should really not "trust" our competitors...

#1 bike is Mark Nudelman and the other bike is Ron Hix on the #975 bike.
