post #1 how we found him

from the looks of his bike i'd say prolly 40-45 mph. he was the guy in the black shirt, long curly brown hair riding the streetfighter FZR. he left out of there about 30 minutes before me and speedfreak. as we were leaving , andy asked "is there another way out of vito's besides the main entrance?", so i explained the other way out and decided for some unknown reason to go that way. as we get back to the feeder road, andy hoonks and points out patrick sitting there, it was then we realized he had gone down. so he explains to us that the ems and leos had already stopped by and about how the cop just stood there while he pulls his bike out of the mud.

post #2 the details of him going down

said he left vito's and there was a barrell laying in the feeder. he said he was watching the cars turning off of medical center and looked up and saw the barrel but could not tell which way the road was going to turn, he's not real familiar with the construction right there. so after seeing the barrel, he locks up the brakes, and headed for the mud which he thought was going to be road. i would say from looking at the marks left behind (although it was dark) i'd say he went probably about 30-45 ft. in the mud. it knocked everything off the front of the bike (speedo, tach, headlight, blown fork seals, bent forks), the seat and seat cowl, gas tank came off, sub-frame destroyed. we did not talk to him after they took him from the wreck, i'll try to call today and find out how he is doing

post #3 to all who passed by

to all of the sorry bastards that just passed by, pointed, and drove off, eff all of you and show a little respect. saw several harley guys drive by and just revs their pipes and keep going. saw several street bikes go down the feeder road, none of them even stopped to see if he was o.k. much less help the guy out, he could not even talk on the phone. i dont like to talk negatively about leo's but to the one cop who showed up, shame on you for not doing your job of helping the citizens, poor patrick had to pulled his own bike out of the mud by himself with a dislocated (or worse) shoulder.

also no alcohol was involved unless he drank before he left his house, but he never even left the bike area at vito's

im here bros. well i like workin on my bike but daym it. i was in the left lane of the feeder and a car was pullin off medical, i could have went right around the barrel and clipped the car,but i went right n sent me airborne n landed in the soft mud. had my gear, helmet stuck in the mud, got whiplash n dislocated my shoulder, collar bone, slight concussion, sore as , but no broken bones. could be alot worse, n too the cop that showed n ran my name to see if i had warrents and if my bike was stole then left me layin in the parkinlot, karma is a bro. thanks speedfreak and fairdfzr, thanks bro, im cool. likin my wounds, i might b down but im not out. hey, i took my fall n walked away, it was inevitable, just glad i got it out the way. thanks for everyones concern, it means alot. well i got more projects now, but she is 17, just a lil growin pains right. hahaha, cant move but my spirits are up, n ill be back, dont count me out just yet

I hate that section of the feeder and do anything I can to avoid it while on the bike during this whole construction thing.

Good luck and heal up.
