If things stay as they are I might ride with you guys. I really don't mind riding out there and meeting up with you guys wherever we decide to stay. If only one more person decides to go they could ride with you guys. Either way I'm flexible.

Well, as much as I loved riding the backroads out there last time, I'm not sure if myself, or anyone else for that matter is prepared to ride there, ride twisted sisters for 2 days, and then ride back.

Don't get me wrong, I love the ride out there, but the trailer makes things a lot easier and gives me peace of mind when thinking about the "what if"

Maybe we can figure something out to where some of us (if we so choose) can ride up there and the others who are gonna trailer can just meet up at the Hotel.

I guess I wouldn't mind riding up there, I'd really prefer for SOMEONE to bring the trailer up there.

Good idea. I may be down to ride the backroads there as well. As long as we have a trailer coming, I will feel a lot better. And plus we can put our stuff in it so they can lug it up there

Having the trailer for insurance IS a good idea.

Me and Hollywood are working on that. If I'm not mistaken, he has Amex points to use on a Hotel, and also has Holiday Inn points he can use. There's a Holiday Inn in Bourne, its maybe 50+ miles away from the Twisted sisters, but the ride to the sisters looks good. anywhere in a 75 mile radius of the sisters is probably good riding

I'm trying to dig up an old thread as we speak as to what backroads route we took last time. . . . .

I can do BBQ! And we will definately be stopping at the Frio Canyon Motorcycle Stop in Leaky!

Magicman and possibly myself will be equipped with our GPS.

Just found out I have to present something here at work that Friday that I really can't lay off onto someone else. Earliest I can break away would be around 2.

That should be okay, Leaving in the afternoon would be fine if your driving up there going I-10. Me and G-Man were thinking about riding up there, our best bet is leave early morning outta NW Houston and take back roads, should arrive around Sunset or earlier. I think it would work out well for all the people who will be leaving in the afternoon to trailer up there with MagicMan. If need be I will even chip in money for the truck and trailer to get up there. A trailer really is good insurance b/c were gonna be a long way from home and anything can happen out there.

Its all bueno. Hopefully you can catch the next trip out there. For anyone living in Texas that rides on 2 wheels, this ride is a must.
