Found a Holiday Inn in Boeme. The roads leading up to the twisted sisters looks pretty good, it's not as close as Bandera but if Hollywood can get us FREE yes I said FREE rooms then I say we book it asap, this is memorial day weekend everyone!

I have a truck and trailer that could fit 6 people and 6 bikes. And how fast is the hill country? Could I hang on my motard or should I bring the RC51? 4 people and 4 bike would be more comfortable.

heres the deal! i just ordered some american express gift cards with my priority club points so i have $400 and i can front a little out of my pocket if need be to use for the rooms we dont have to stay at holiday inn we can stay at any hotel that takes american express it just seemed better to do it this way. so lets get a list going of who can go for sure or who is a maybe so we can get a idea of how many rooms are needed. i would say we need to know who is coming for sure by friday of next week. if may 23 isnt good for everyone maybe we can work something out and change the date but i need to know as soon as possible so i can put in for vacation. if anyone needs to talk to me my number is 281-733-1185.

We were thinking about leaving Friday afternoon (23rd) and trailering, whats the earliest you could leave on that Friday? I need to look into getting a map and/or rigging up my GPS

The motard would be SO much fun out there, however, don't know how well of gas mileage it gets, and how fast it can go on straights because we tend to speed a lil on the straights when theres absolutely nothing around. 4 people would be a perfect group number.

I wanna stick with the 23rd-26th. But all the other stuff sounds good I'd love to stay fairly close to the Twisted Sisters but most of the places round there are cabins, lodges, ma and pop places you know, dont think they take amex. . . . but I'll look into it tomorrow

I say we trailer up there.

you should be fine on the motard, as theres not much in the way of straights (especially if GARY is going *BA-DUM-PUM*) but bear in mind you will be miles from NOWHERE. so fuel may be an issue for you.
