traffic bumps!!!

I discovered how slippery those little white traffic bumps are that differentiate lanes. I clipped one of those little buggers at about 15-20mph in the apex of a left turn and my front wheel jumped about 1-2 inches to the right. Woke me RIGHT UP! I kicked the ground with my left foot and gave her a little throttle and straightened up to finish the turn.

Note to self, avoid traffic bumps in turns! LOL

those are the ones on the shoulder of the freeway that make your entire car vibrate like it's a ford escort doing 115mph.

They get even more interesting when it's raining. Stay off them, especially in corners, when it's wet.

Other than that, if you stay on the throttle the bike will recover. Glad you came through OK. Be careful about putting your foot down. Twist fractures are nasty.

How you liking the 600R?

Really comfortable bike, plenty of power.

I like it more and more every time I hop on it.

Probably best to avoid them. I usually accelerate when changing lanes. This helps to shift weight to the rear tire so the front doesn't matter as much [when going over those bumps]. Worst thing you can do is chop the throttle which will shift more weight to the front.
