Unhappy Good thing I was wearing my helmet and took the MSF!

Today on my way to work...

Riding about 60MPH on I-10.

Then all of a sudden, a spark plug, yes an entire Champion spark plug comes flying at my face, and hits the clear shield right where my left eye is. It was a pretty substantial impact.

I'm thinking: Blimey, that would have hurt. I wonder what car it is from...

And then everybody in front of me slams on their brakes. I end up locking/unlocking my rear brakes a few times while doing a quickstop. And progressively laying on the front brake. that lady in the Mercedes with ABS in front of me!
Note to self. Get bike with wider tires.

Lesson - take the MSF and wear a helmet!

Note UR-self, practice braking techniques.

Your Ninja 250 can out brake a Mercedes with or with out ABS anyday. :/:

BTW - good on yo for your gear.

I thought that I need to get myself a sammich to celebrate the occasion!

But no, nothing. Just thought about people riding with no helmet and getting a sparkplug in their EYE!

Yowch! That would've been catastrophic - and probably deadly! Probably got kicked up by the car in front of you.

I had an entire 2x4 completely lifted off the ground by an 18-wheeler in front of me - luckily in my CAR - it came up and hit my hood like a spear and nearly sheared it off then bounced over the top of me.
