I ride a R6 & R1, both not lowered, im 5 4. I tip-toe the R6 a whole lot more than R1. I like riding the R1 but I feel more comfy on the R6 bc I had it longer. Like everyone else says, you need to get a feel of what you like. There may people out there that doesn't agree with me and that is fine. Go sit on all the bikes you are interested in and see which one feels more comfy and something that is light enough for you to move it around. You can always drop it so you can be flat footed.

Dropped the Katana another half inch today. that's as low as I can safely put it for riding. Anything more and we need to cut the seat. She is almost flat footed
