Now that I think about it, after the shear terror was over at 150+, I thought to myself, "wow, that must have looked pretty badass" and it was kinda fun... but not the fun you want to duplicate, the fun that you can look back on and say you lived through it!

Turn about is fair play, that's exactly what I was doing last weekend while yall were enjoying the weather and races!

Like Macman said, I can't say enough about how great the weather was, what a great job Ronnie's and my crews did, and how awesome the track was. It seems like every time we have an LSTD event at Cresson (when the weather isn't screwin' us), it's a ton of fun! Of course, most of it is being out there hangin' with some quality folks (staff and customers alike), but I just love that track!

I think I may have to re-write my 3.1 track guide now... it's a bit different than when we ran it a couple of years ago.

I would have taken your spot for 1/2 off if you would have posted....better than being out the whole 170.

I'll have some of the same take-offs as Gabe at TWS (Texas World Speedway) if you want 'em.

LSTD puts on THE TRACK DAY of 2008!

Here's a copy of the post I put on the TSBA board:

I have to agree!! Yesterday's trackday truly rolled as smoothly as it could have possibly run! I did not want the day to end!! I had two friends experience their 1st trackday yesterday! I felt obliged to tell them that the weather is not always that good!

Quote:
A trackday TRIFECTA. Excellent weather, track, and organization. Thank You Mother Nature, MSR and LSTD.
And Thank You!! To David and everyone that participated. Without a loyal customer base, no company can survive in a competitive market. LSTD takes great pride in the product it delivers and the services it offers.

Yesterday our customer's experienced a day where are the controllable factors were controlled and all the uncontrollable factors swung in our favor. I hope that everyone no matter whom they choose to ride with, can experience a day like that!!
