Mike, ya know I love ya man, but eww. Your bike was looking HAWT until that, IMHO. Is there a purpose for the mesh? I haven't a clue so please inform me...

serves the same purpose as rim tape. poser points ah im just kidding mike. rim tape goes well with it. but IMO the mesh as got to go.

def heat it up and smooth it out , and fix the center on the bottom its got that line that really messes up the bottom, not my thing but ill tell ya how to fix it and paint that cover and the tank! cheapo!

and your missing screws in your front fender lol

not missing screws. thats where the reflecter was. lol

im gonna completely gonna redo the mesh since ive gotten some good pointers on how to do it, and yes the tank is getting painted as soon as i get the $$ for it.

Yo - awesome bike, Az, I like the concept of the mesh - looks pretty cool. Not for me though - I think headlights deserve to be seen....

But I'm also thinking - what is that material? Can it take a paint to match exactly, before applying to the light?

but more importantly- does that stuff take away from the effectiveness of the light and is it street-legal?? (I'm askin' cause I really don't know....)

it only slightly dims it. 3m makes it and can be painted and removed with no problems at any time. I use to run it on my rc51.
