I purposely wear bright colored helmets that don't match so people can see me more clearly. My current is a flouresent yellow Suomy! It's like a neon sign that screams for attention!

All of my gear is black including the helmet, my bike is not black and I am perfectly ok with that. Although of course, I wish my black was black to give me a stealthier cooler look.
Quite frankly,--black aside--I think riders who wear bright colors to match their bikes look kind of dorky. what are they, power rangers?

my helmet matches my bike, cause i got it with my bike and it fit quite nicely... i probably will be getting another silver one since i have to replace it... but if you're friends are giggling about your gear being a fashion faux pas (i think i used that correctly...), then just outperform them (and i don't mean simply speeding)... then you can call them scrubs and let them know that their synchronized gear looked great in your mirror

2 red/white helmets, wife has pink/white helmet. red/white gear, wife has pink/white gear. Had Red/white bike, had silver/white bike after that. looks good matching bike/gear/helmet, but it doesn't matter, you're still awesome because you're on a bike.

too many /

my first bike was red and silver and i rocked a gloss black half shell and goggles all i needed was a scarf and i would have looked like snoopy it dosent really matter if the bike and helment match as long as it keeps your nogin in one piece it works
