Spies and Mladin to the line!!!!

0.011 at the line.

I don't know what you guys saw after the race.........

But I saw a very "beside himself" Mladin..........

What a run by Spies though! I'm hoping Matt ends the season ontop, but Spies deserved that one.

But like most of you guys I'm sure, I feel this Suzuki slaughter fest is getting really old. Has been old for a good while now.........

I love Spies but it has gotten pretty boring since you know either he or Matt is gonna win! They do have some pretty good battles but even still no one else can really challenge them!

Agreed.

Maybe with the new rules and such coming down the pipe, it will get a little more interesting for the other teams and riders.

But then again, the suzukis are without a doubt the most developed bike on the grid. So that has alot to do with it..........Plus one of their riders is the "cowboy" responsible for the years of development that has gone into their machine.

It is hard to compete with a growing legacy..........:/:

We all pretty much knew when the race began that it was going to be Spies and Mladin battling it out if neither crashed. It has been like that for the last 36 races.
Hated to see Yates go down. I'm a fan and like the direction and management of the Jordan Suzuki Team.

Good was Zemke and Bolstrom slugging it out for the finish in the SS races. Once "Lil Bit" screwed up and was out of the running for the win, these two put on quite a show all the way to the finish. I think I was actually trying to yell at them throug the TV, lol...

I had the DVR set to record the race......which it did. But since they flew the red flag, the race went a little over the hour I had the DVR set to record. So here I am watching these two guys go at it with exactly one lap left. I'm on the edge of my seat! They were getting ready to fly into the banking to start their last lap, then they freeze. My DVR stopped and I was left staring at two great riders at full lean before their last lap. So, I had to surf the web to see who won.

Lucky for me though, Speed channel posted up the last lap on their page! So I got to watch it anyways. But lesson learned. Record the next show just incase!

Great engine, front wheel gets light REAL quick........to much for the suspension/chassis set-up at this point though.

The ride is still under development......they'll have it sorted out eventually!

Yeah I am thinking they need to neuter it a little or detune it as I am sure Jamie is NOT having much fun trying to control it right now...

total different class, total different racing!

AMA guys would have to work super dbl overtime to keep up with GP guys for the first year or so.

WORLDS apart. AMA superbike is based on production motorcycles where as MotoGP is 1 off prototype motorcycles. In car racing it would be something like Lemans GT vs. Lemans LMP

AMA superbike is more akin to WSBK (FIM World Superbike) without the $$$$$$$

Now can they compete??? We will find out shortly.... I believe Spies is moving up in 09 not sure if Miladin will ever leave (?????) He is not exactly a young buck anymore.

take a look at Toseland, he's doing great to be running mid-pack in MGP after running up front in the SBK series.

to learn how to ride a GP bike is gonna take a good year at least.

I don't believe Spies will have the success that Nicky has had. I wish him the best no matter what.
