Right lane baaaaad....

Last night me and like ten buddies were cruising 1960, not going that fast, and were coming up close to that walmart right before kuykendahl and all of a sudden all i see is my buddy mash on the brakes and his back tire fly up.. he went right over the handlebars and my other buddy was origionally trying to go around himbut since the other guy hit the brakes they collided one bike hit the other and the seond guy flew like 15 feet in the air and came down flopping around like a rag doll on the concrete. i looked back up and the same car that cut them off was coming over at me and almost knocked me into nocoming traffic. i hit the gas and barely made it by inches. the car who caused the whole burned off. but my buddies bikes are messed up and one has several fractures including his pelvis. watch out for that right lane on a friday night.

, I drive across 1960 all the time and pray at every intersection that they see me. I tend to get in the furthest lane away from the person about to make a turn that way it will give me some reaction time, but even then people always try to beat bikes. Glad your okay and hope your friends an bike are still up and running. Be careful

Hope your buds get well soon. Man, that's the kind of dilema I would not like to be in.....1) Check on your friends or 2) Chase down the person that hurt your friends. Instinct would of course be 1, but then there'd be that one part of you that's of wanting to get that .

i saw a sign when u turn off 45 to 1960 it says. Watch out for DWI drivers and something about 25 deaths since 1999 or somethign like that. That must happen alot over there.

What if that person did happen to kill someone ( Forbid!)... wouldn't that have been involuntary manslaughter, or neglegent manslaughter??

I would have had someone try to catch up to that person and at least get a plate...

Not trying to speak for all but I'm sure I'm right when I say wish your friends a speedy recovery from all of us here on Moto-Houston. I live on 1960 E but it's crazy up there past 45. I was just there Friday night taking my wife out to eat when we saw a guy on his bike get cut off. Glad your ok but sorry to here about your friends.

No one ever does :(

I got hit at 1960 and 59 in the middle of 5 oclock traffic and no one stopped or even slowed down for that matter much less try and get a plate off the guy. . You know CSI is going to start with or without you there, gotta get to it.
