Coach Garza was one of my favorite teachers in school. I had him for Spanish I, and he was one of the fiew teachers that made it fun. I was never the jock, or the cool kid, but he did his best to make everyone feel welcome, and apart of the group. I knew him on a more personal level and he is a genuinely good guy. The day I heard he had been hit on his bike and was life flighted, my heart skipped a beat, just like all you have when we push it a lil too far, and come a lil to close, and fate opens your eyes. The best really do have a shorter span, the reason I ride the way I do, but what is life without living. Im gonna spread the word and try to get as many riders as possible here, for if there ever was a justifiable cause, this is it. And I urge each and everyone of you that read to do the same. Come out and show your support and the ties that bind us riders together. It could happen to any of us, at any time, dont take it for granted, it just might jump out n bite ya to bring life back into focus. thanks all, I know the hogs will probably show, lets show them what the sport bike riders are made of, they think we are a bunch of 2 bit punks, that we may be, but we are punks who stick together and pull together tight when one of our own needs us. keep the rubber down bro's

Good point. Rather than further stereotype ourselfs please everyone that rides with us act mature and appropriate. There is a time for hauling , goofing off, popping wheelies, ect. But this ride is not that time. So please be respectful and give MH and all us sportbikers a good name out there.

ok, heres the deal, I just talked to Jaye at Twisted Cycles and got the route, its pretty simple. Head up hwy 6 to 288, 288 south to 1462, 1462 back down to Johnson, Johnson to Stadium, around the back of the stadium and into the gym parking lot where they are having the Bar-B-Q, everyone that gets in the ride will get a raffle ticket which they are supposed to be raffling alot of cool stuff, plus they are gonna have some other things goin. Alot of cruisers are gonna be there, but we need to get a role call, told them we are tryin to get some sport bikes to ride out and they are stoked. All the bikes will be parked in the gym parking lot so we need to know how big of an area we are gonna need. If you know anyone with one sittin their garage, under a cover in their carport, or rustin in the rain, tell them if there was ever a better time to drag the ol gurl out n ride, this is it.Lets get as big of a turn out as we can, this is for a great cause, so lets show our support. Plus it will be a great opportunity for all of us local riders to get together and possibly get some rides set up for down here. I mean there are some really good routs on the other side of the world, but we got some good twisties down here too. Spread the word and lets see what we can stir up.
