Thinking avout getting this but

http://www.dynotunenitrous.com/store...?idproduct=176

I am afraid that it will be of no use because I might need a strech. Is that correct? I don't want some extensions or a 1K swing arm.

What size bike is it? I have heard nitrous can be detrimental to engines, I would just get a bigger bike if I needed the added power long before I put nitrous on one.

600 cc. I am sure its true under the wrong circumstances without fuel. I have used a system before, just not in a bike. Yes, getting a bigger bike is a great idea but getting another bike is not an option. Have any other ideas?

Just how fast do you want to go?

What would be your intended use?

Edit: Sorry, realized my questions are off-topic and aren't useful in answering the original question.

They are rather good tough.

1) I want to go faster then now in acceleration. 160-180 hp later down the road.

2) Intended use is casual.

I would also be worried about the legality of not only using it, but even having it on the bike. I'm sure some here can chime in on this but if you want I can look into it for you. I won't be back at my house until tomorrow and that's where I have all my Law books but I'd be glad to look it up for ya

if you want to go faster now with acceleration.....change your gears. fastest, fairly inexpensive, and easiest mod to do.

casual use is as casual as your hand wants to grab the throttle.

try riding a bike with a 65 tooth rear sprocket on it, and you'll get an idea of what nitrous would feel like

Its horn activated if you haven't paid attention, and only when in Full Open Throttle.

Tony ton know a thing or 2 about bikes...

If your looking for straight line speed buy a busa. Tons of power and super comfy (and i'll admit it they are kind of sexy)

Nitrous on a low cc bike would be more of a patch.

Ideals alone, do you wanna pay the money and have a bike slower then a 1k with all that stuff on it? Plus it loses the bragging rights. Good idea but in all honesty, HofP is write about the sprocket change. If you don't ride at high speeds its the best bang for the buck. You will also need a speedometer corrector.

Regearing doesn't sacrifice engine rigidity for performance. Nitrous, even on a safe setting on a NA built engine is stressing the rings.
