Haga crashes big in Assen (in practice)

Crashes then gets back on and goes second,
Get in there
Quote:
The ever popular Yamaha rider suffered the spill in the early stages of today's qualifying session, meaning he had to use the second of his Santander Yamaha machines.

Despite this though, the Japanese rider was able to get a good enough feeling for that bike to go second quickest in the same session, three tenths of a second behind Troy Bayliss.

"I didn't have any problems ater the crash," he revealed. "I just folded the front on the first right hand turn after the back straight.

"This forced me onto the second bike and it felt a bit different, but we can make it even closer tomorrow. We need to get the gearing sorted out aswell, between third and fourth gear.

How fortunate to have a factory bike - knowing when you crash, you'll have another one lined up ready to go...

aah... what a dream

One of the worlds fastest ever on a Superbike........when he can stay on it.

Glad he's ok.......wish he could have stayed upright during the race too.
