Crossed over to the darkside! (w/pics!!!)

Well guys, my racing and track days have come to an end. I sold the blinged out ZX-10R for a brand new 2008 Harley Dyna Street Bob. Only had a chance to ride it home from the dealership and man it's one sweet ride. This is my first ever cruiser and definitely my first Harley. Gotta say, it's a completely different experience from my sport bikes, but I'm diggin it. I can't wait to get in the saddle and do a few 500-600 mile days on it with the wifey heading off to nowhere. Anyways, on to the good stuff, PICS!

#1) It looks almost as big as the car in the 4th pic.

#2) I don't think the "wifey" is gonna want to do a 500-600 mile day on THAT rear seat.

#3) Sweet bike, I had a DynaGlide for 7 tears and loved it. Might get another someday.

the flat black is sweet, id recommend some drag bars, my uncle has a 96ci stroker dyna low, and it is definitely way different from a sport bike

for reference, that's a 19" front wheel. and it's 1597cc's. not 500 thank you.

as for the rear seat, obviously that is a single seat. but i have an add on passenger pillion that attaches to the rear fender that is extremely comfortable (especially compared to the 2x4 on the back of most sport bikes).

and why on earth would i get drag bars? one of the best aspects of the street bob are the mini-ape handlebars...if anything i'm going taller, not lower.

it's two completely different experiences. i could never just cruise on the zx-10. it was always go as fast as you can to get the biggest rush that you can. i'm just not into that anymore. at least not right now. i got 2 young kids that i gotta take care of. i'm much safer out there on one of these, than any sportbike.

and sorry, jason, my 10r is all the way up in chcago now. i do still have the spare engine tho....zixxer cart??

ya, ya, ya, i enjoy cruisers also. i've had one for 4 or 5 years. i just sold it last year to a friend of mine-dub dub. the ride is different. i used to ride to galveston and feel like i was sittin on a couch. it was a '85 honda magna . u enjoy the ride a lot more when ur takin ur time cruisin around town. u can take my gixxer out when u get that itch
