maybe there were kids around, maybe he's done it numerous times, maybe he's been stopped and told, maybe by the time the police get there, he's gone.

was it right what she did, no

but was he any less guilty?

we don't know w/ that sketchy report.

another case of biker can do no wrong amongst other bikers.

It's hard to determine if it was speeding. I would think the elderly (possibly drunk as well) would conclude way too fast at times that someone's going "too fast" just because of the sound of a motorcycle. Then again, how fast do you have to be going to die by hitting your head on a bumper? I guess more info is needed. It's hard to tell with what we're given. I still think the shouldn't have done that either way

I know. what i was trying to say was that its hard to prove her motives. I honestly dont see those charges sticking at all. which sucks though because as much as I love the Law. I think she messed up as a human being towards another human being however unintentional it was thought out to be or not.

I had some guys doing the squid stuff in our residential neighborhood when my kids were younger. All the neighborhood kids played in the street and people watched out for them. I went out twice and told them to knock that stuff off. The gave me the finger. I called the cops and they said they didn't have anyone to send at the time. Two minutes later my wife called all off because she was 2 miles away getting a ticket for 41 mph in a 35 mph zone.

I found a brick and walked out to the street with full intentions of using it on one of them as they came wheelying by. They must have had keen eyesight because they saw me standing there and went the other way and didn't come back.

So, calling the cops isn't always the solution and you are judging the woman and absolving the man without full knowledge of the incident.

...I think the LEO's could do a decent job determining if the rider was speeding or not.

you never try to defend by attacking the victim. (you want jury to feel bad for your client not the victim) that is the last ditch effort. first step is proving her credibility, positive motivation, and precedence in lowering the charges.

All of this assumes that the story is basically accurate.

He was wrong, She was wrong. In the end, he was responsible for his own death, while she was a contributing factor. He was probably looking backward and flippin her off when he hit. She's being charged appropriately.
