I do need to warn everyone though. Not everyone's experience with this vendor has worked out so well. I bought my plastics from the same place in Jan 08. The moldings were so bad I was only able to use the main three fairing pieces - And these three all needed some modification. They look alright now, but they are nowhere near the qualitiy and fit of OEM. I ended up repairing many of my stock pieces though, to put the bike back together. It was less work than trying to cut and re-fab misplaced stands and poor lines and molding on the aftermarket pieces.

FYI - I bought this paint scheme (but for an 01-00). its BAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaack!

Mike - glad it worked out for you, but buyer beware when dealing with these Hong Kong plastics.
wow that sucks tim. maybe i just got lucky.

Maybe once you get the funds, buy used wheels and get THEM pc'd so you don't have to ruin your originals. Also, what about doing the same with the tank? Buy a used one and have it painted instead?

I like the wheels too, but they don't match, haha. I figured if you were making a "replica" bike, you'd want it to look correct.

Looks good. After I wrecked my bike I went with the Hong Kong ebay plastics and have had nothing but compliments on how it looks. I did have a few troubles making them fit though, mainly the front fender and the upper cowl. Another thing to keep an eye on are the plastics when they get real hot. Last summer I noticed the right side fairing started to melt a little near my exhaust cause of the heat, it also started to discolor the plastics alittle, but not enough to really stand out. I just put a little heat tape where it was getting hot and so far no problems.
