New Toy

Well I brought her home last night.
2003 SV1000.
- Sharkskinz race fiberglass (with solo tail)
- Penski triple-clicker rear shock
- fully reworked forks (by Traxxion dynamics)
- Michelin Pilot Race
- Yoshimura 2-into-1 header with custom , to accept any stock slip-on
- Teka'ed ECU
- Black powerdercoated frame and swingarm
- Goodrich kevlar brake lines
- Vortec rearsets
- Zero gravity wind shield
- TRE
- Pair removed
- cable clutch conversion,
- Recently replaced chain
- Race spec safety wiring
- Custom green LEDs in gages (replaced stock orange ones)
- Handles great, runs perfect, placed 3rd overall in AFM Open Twins.

And it does feel like a whole other animal from my C-14. It looks like a tough old track bike and needs a little work to make it fully street legal (well pass inspection anyway) and I have to add two or three brackets to secure the fairings. Otherwise it's quite a little torque monster thumper. I haven't tried it on any good turns yet but can tell it's going to rip'em up, Jeez it steers quick. Can't wait to get it on a track.
