oil

my first and second oil changes I used royal purple ful syn. It is about 11 dollars a quart but I noticed a diifance with it. The bike runs smoother and has less vibrations.

I use Shell Rotello Fully Synth 5w40...being an engineer I see no need for anything else. Full Synth protects better and clings to engine parts longer...then regular oil. Also, the "10" in 10w40 refers to cold startup viscosity...and since this oil is running through your tranny is breaks down that "10" in NO TIME.

This is a good writeup about motorcycle oils, and I agree with the guy 100%.
