CCS @ MSRH Thank you's

Absolutely amazing day at the track racing and hanging out with a bunch of good people! The turn out was much better than before and I was happy to see it.

I want to say thank you to a few people. First of all, Longhorn Motorcycle School deserves my thanks for the morale support, motivation to start racing, good racing tips, and just being a bunch of good friends. Thanks to all those involved. Of course our ring-leader Buck, you're the man. It was great racing so closely with you out there. Between our battles, you got one, I got one. Good clean racing with a good racer.

John Hutch with Bridgestone/South Central Race Center! THANK YOU for the suuuppppeeerrr sticky rubber that kept me off my head today and brought me home with 3 good finishes and a new 2.2seconds per lap lower lap time! NO other tire vendor in the paddocks provided rider support like Hutch. He was coming around to all of his riders making sure we're ok, he would check our tires, pressures, come sit on hot pit lane to check them on the fly and adjust as necessary. Great guy to deal with. I owe you many thanks buddy.

Tony with Tom's Paint and Body, thanks for the support, paint work (needs to get a new paint job soon with the new bodywork) and just being a good friend and morale support you give me.

Motorcycle's Unlimited, big thank you for getting my suspension installed in a flash so I could make this race. You guys run a quality shop and do good work!

Even though I doubt he'll read this post, I have to say thanks to Jim Cambora. He spent about 20-30mins on the phone with me during the Saturday practice day helping me turn knobs on my bike and get my suspension working in a manner I am comfortable with. That guy is amazing.

Derek, You did a awesome job riding this weekend. Your getting more and more feeling from the bike. That is priceless. Learning to communicate what the bike and tires are doing is a learned trait. Your picking that up at a very quick pace.
AWESOME JOB!

Congratulations Derek. I was really impressed with your times. Watching you, Buck, Jason and the rest made for a very entertaining weekend.

I'm just wondering why everytime you went by Jason was behind you. (LOL)

I'm really blown away by how fast you guys are getting.
Definetly enjoyed watching you guys duke it out on the track.

Props to MSRH and CCS for putting on a great event.

Great weekend Derek for the first time out. Looks like the Formula Smack series is due for a revival. 1 to 1..........to be continued. Guess I'm gonna have to start buying two rears so I can hold you off in the afternoon. Great racing, you made LMS proud. Next time don't forget to close the door in the Diamonds Edge.
Looking forward to getting some practice in with you soon. Again....well done Derrek!!

Thanks, Buck. You definitely taught me a lesson the hard way when I left the inside open on the entrance to Diamond's Edge. I won't be doing that again. Thanks for the good clean close racing. That was the most fun I had out there really.

hey derek! i cant say enough about the ride you put on this weekend. in race 15 i thought it would just be me and buck. but little did i know you had something for the both of us experts! lol! while i was trying to set buck up on a pass here you come from nowhere and throw it down inside of me in turn 1! great job and i look forward to do it again! i was pretty wore out considering it was my 4th race and my tires were gone but i know you had all the same problems bc it seemed like you were in a bunch of races too! again thanks for the good clean racing.

Hey Thomas, that was a blast running with you man. Yep I was suffering all of the same problems, but I guess that's part of the game, huh? I hope to be out there with you guys again next time. Thanks for the fun run of passing back and forth.

I need to do some cardio training. I need to build up better endurance.
