kawasaki has been putting them in bikes for a long time. my 1998 zx7r has a slipper clutch in it stock and you can put thinner or thick steel plates in the clutch to have more or less slip.

Of course, my K5 has one. Of the two dozen bikes I've owned, it is the first one I've had that has one . I love it. You can concentrate more on the curve instead of the downshift!!!!
