Not sure how slippage would cause a wreck at normal speeds. Really not sure about transmission slippage on a bike. Only scooters and the new (FJR?) have automatic transmissions. Clutch slipping, yeah OK, but a mechanic should know the difference.

That's why I do what I can and take the rest to Patrick. No silly excuses.

Was he by any chance on a black zx6 or r6 with flames? Had a lotta tattoos?

I was coming from a meeting in sugarland and decided 2 go 2 cycle gear b4 i went home for the day at about 12pm when he came up from behind me on the feeder as i exited for Bellaire. He stalled at the light on Fondren, and then sounded like shifting thru 2 Bellaire. I said then, boy he's gonna kill himself today!

Then he made the u turn b4 me under the freeway on Bellaire. It was his turn 2 go, but he kept trying 2 get it in gear, and finally did and took off... I was praying for him after that cause i just KNEW he was a NOOB, but glad 2 know he wasn't and there was just something wrong with the moto, sucks he wrecked it, but i saw it coming if this is the same dude.
