i dont want to try to start it yet, the tank is filty so i wont risk the carb getting it too

ill clean the tank and do tune up, then ill kick it and see what happens

also fork seals are bad, now i have to learn how to do it :/:

If you haven't ridden a 2 stroke 250, be very careful. They can be killers. I looped one twice. You'll need some special tools to do the forks. It would be best to just pay someone to do them. Like Patrick@Motorcycles Unlimited or Andy@Metric. If it doesn't run with fresh plugs and a clean carb, you'll probably need to replace the top end on it.

Pester, tonight I am replacing my inner fork seals, outer dust seals and replacing Fork Fluid in my KX250 forks. I will be doing this with a knowledgable buddy and will be taking pictures and doing a write up for all to see. If you'd like to come watch, send me a PM....btw, he lives right off of 290/Jones.

BTW, nice find for 200 bucks.
