Smile oil level

i have zx 6r 2007 my oil level is full when the bike is off n it goes to the mid level once i start the bike so which level it should be at full or mid when the bike is off
sorry i tried to search thhis in the search forum but coulndt find anything

Full with the bike off and vertical. Not on the sidestand or a rearstand since that will move the oil around.

its prob b/c when u start it the oil cycles through your engine instead of sitting in the reservoir. Right?
