we should make little Motohouston patches with our screen names on that we can wear on our leathers to help identify eachother.

Logan, you may have a better chance of getting a hold of Buck by sending him an email or posting your question up on the LMS section of the forum.

dude, I can't decide if that's a good thing or a bad thing. one one hand, I can see people remembering who passed who, or who did what, but what if you're too busy noticing "hey, f-kin thomas passed me!" and end up running off thru the weeds? I was pretty focused, I don't think it would bother me. but I didn't get to meet as many people as I wanted last time, so I may just tape my name (it's easy) on my suit.
let's just hope everyone stays up this time, no one takes anyone out, and we all make it home without any incidents. we were so close last time. only 3 accidents, and mike was the only one actually injured. that sucked dude hope you're better.

Why not write your name on the blue tape on your headlights. That way we can find each other during break rather than while riding and get distracted.

It shouldn't be too hot out there this weekend. But on the other hand, this is Houston.

Try wearing under armor, if you got any that is. If you don't, sport stores sell them pretty cheap. It will keep you cooler than a t-shirt and it well help to wick the water away from your skin, that way your leathers don't stick to your arms. This makes for taking the top half of the leathers off your body much easier, so you can cool off during breaks! Make sure you drink A LOT of water during the days leading up to this Saturday. Do this, and you shouldn't have a problem with heat. Dehydration will totally ruin your day......so drink plenty! I bring alot of fruit with me, that helps too!

I was thinking more like an icebreaker in the pits ... walking around I recognize some people, but I'm sure there were twice as many that I didn't even know were MHers ... you know ... so people can say ... "DUDE! So you're Logan5 ... man you're way nerdier than I thought you'd be." stuff like that ... oh and then we can form a roving band of malcontents and stuff too.

I tested the leathers out today. Brandon and I hit the forrest earlier. They felt great and fit nicely. They are pretty well ventilated. I defintely need to buy some under armor. I can see why that would help getting the suit off.

Oh yeah, the leathers made me faster.
