Ninja Problems

I have a ninja 500 and it won't start. I bought it not too long ago and it was bone dry on oil so I put some in it. Tried to start it up today and it sounded like it wanted to but then started making a buzzing sound. Is it the battery? :dontknow:

That's my best guess... if so, does anyone know the type of battery it needs?

I just wanna ride.....

Its on left hand side right under tank. its the off/on/reserve switch. It turns the flow of gas off.

petcock would make it hard to start, and it would turn over. the buzzing is not enough juice to turn it over.

So would it be better to try to charge it or just buy a new one? The guy I bought it from didn't do anything to it but ride. (That's obvious... bone dry on oil, low batt., bald a$$ rear tire, not had a bath(the bike) in I don't know when) So my guess would be to buy a new one right? It should be about that time. :dontknow:
