i had no luck with getting the cap off. i tried graphite and wd-40. i would have taken it to you patrick but i knew that my gas would not make it. so i took it to aj foyt(where i bought it) and they were able to take care of it. the warranty is going to pay for the whole gas cap replacment and they are also going to replace the ignition so that i dont have to use two different keys; also covered by warranty. thank for warranty. thanks again guys for all the help.

Someone may have played a bad joke on you and broke something off in it like a piece of a paper clip.

I had seen it done and I have done it. Mine was in high school though and it was to keep from having to return to class after lunch. lol. I was a bad kid.
